lyrics
Systemic overload of overstimulation
Dulling the senses to the point of addiction
Motivated only to push the button
For false satisfaction
I dont want to be here anymore
With myself to abhor
Surrendering the soul for the quick fix
Of synthetic simulate pleasure of flesh
Craving, diluting
Hurting, substituting
Nothing is real, nothing is true
Hiveminded insects, hedonistic excess
Feeding on the entrails of past Dynasty’s regrets
Why do we pretend, leisure’s fruits gone rotten
Alive but at what cost, alone and forgotten
No Compromise
Don’t believe the lies
When the solution is the problem
Kangaroo courts in a modern Sodom
The tart poison of arrogance cultivates hostility
Hearts charred and black devoid of humility
A world full of self-centred cunts addicted to pretending
No shortage of opinions, actions always pending
Unsolicited, unsophisticated
Egos stroked, then masturbated
Delusions of strength amongst the herd
Propagated through written word
Disguising control with the stench of justice
A voice for the voiceless, who’s word they take
Power games
Is It really so bad?
As your world turns, so do I
To your problems that aren't mine
Sweating from nicotine nightmares
Afraid of an enemy that’s only there
When the stimulus flows:
If you know, they know
I stop hating, I stop caring
I don't want to notice the world around me changing
No Compromise
Don’t believe the lies
When the solution is part of the problem
I dont care if they know
I dont care if they know
I dont care if they know
Trapped in endless fucking loop

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
